Community offers up a new pavilion at the SL22B event!

BAY CITY, SL (20 June, 2025) - Bay City Presents their annual pavilion at the SL22B Exhibitor Showcase titled, "Tall Tales of Bay City" at SLB Enchant.

Echoing the SL22B theme, Myths and Legends, Bay City is hosting several lighthearted shadowboxes of their biggest tall tales. The artworks, created and hand-drawn by Marianne McCann, feature both moving images and accompanying stories. 

Downstairs, the exhibit includes general information about the city, including a relief map of the city created by Erik Mondrian, and an exhibit of event posters from the current year. You can also find many fun free items, including press pennies, souvenir plates, and decorative pinback buttons celebrating the exhibit and Bay city itself.

The SL22B event, a celebration of the 22nd anniversary of Second Life ending its beta period, is hosting the Exhibitor Showcase, an area spanning 19 regions, and featuring over 500 exhibitors and 250+ exhibits. The event runs from 20 June to 20 July.

Bay City is a mainland community, developed by Linden Lab® and home to the Bay City Alliance. The Bay City Alliance was founded in 2008 to promote the Bay City regions of Second Life® and provide a venue for Bay City Residents and other interested parties to socialize and network. It is now the largest Bay City group, and home to most Residents of Bay City.
