Take off to the south and head for the ocean, then veer to the west and follow the ocean around to avoid most of the skyboxes, banlines, and junk.

SLHT also provides a heliport and a direct connection to the SLRR in case you need to continue your journey by rail.

Oh - and free coffee and cocoa in the airport terminal tunnel. :) Happy and safe travels!Raven Lunahttp://www.simwalking.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7042582176984229111.post-90565915425083041032019-09-03T04:43:19.487-07:002019-09-03T04:43:19.487-07:00Both Heterocera and Jeogeot are short of good take...Both Heterocera and Jeogeot are short of good take-off and landing places, Riddings being furthest north and Spurness furthest south for landplanes. An amphibian may be the best answer.

I've made the trip several times, usually in my lightly modded Hercules C1P (Colour scheme, refuelling probe, and the Special Forces Flight extras the plane flew with at the end of its career with the RAF).

I've done tactical landings on some very short runways with that plane, but the wingspan is still a problem.

At least once you clear Sansar, you can stay over water until the Jeogeot Gulf ends.

Plane size generally, I'd say the DC-3/C-47 is a reasonable maximum, but a lot of places really need something smaller.
zhochakahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06653786360841345602noreply@blogger.com
